| First the image is carved on a block of wood and ink is rolled over that image. | Next, the paper is pressed onto the image and hung to dry. | Last, the print is signed, numbered, matted and shipped directly to you! |
Using handmade black ink painted on a board, I scratch out with knives until an image emerges. A limited edition are then printed onto beautiful Chinese rice paper. Additional colors are hand painted on each print (depending on the piece). All art is signed, numbered, and named by the artist. Only 20 prints are made from each block, and then the block is kept, sold or destroyed.
Each print is mounted with archive quality black satin toned mat-board (or framed at your request). The art is placed inside a sheer poly envelope, double wrapped and backed with cardboard to prevent damage during shipping. Once opened you can either display the print as is or place in your frame of choice.
